Applying disability etiquette in practice.

Disability etiquette is the set of respectful practices that guide how people interact with disabled individuals — it treats people as whole persons first, asks before assisting, and follows the disabled person's lead on what they need.

⚠️ Etiquette practices evolve with community preferences and are not uniform across disability communities — what is considered respectful language or behaviour for one group may not be preferred by another, and individual preferences within a group vary further.
